Therapy center touts salt for wellness
Salt Escape (saltescape.com), a salt therapy center in west Plano, Texas, touts the healing powers of sodium chloride that were first discovered in European salt mines more than a century ago. “People who work in salt mines, mysteriously they don’t have all the ailments that we do,” says owner Jim Rizzuto. “They don’t have asthma, sinus problems, all of the upper-respiratory issues that we have. And the common denominator is salt. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory.”
